Depart for a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf exploring Attica beyond Athens.

The view across the Aegean sea is magnificent with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world, extending all the way to Kea island and the Peloponnese peninsula on a clear day.
The Temple of Poseidon was built in 44 b.c. and many of it's original Doric columns are still standing. One of the columns has a graffiti left by non other that Lord Byron in the early 1800's. The steep cliff is a sheer 197 foot drop to the sea.
Highlights are the beautiful views of the Saronic Gulf and it's islands. Pass by the southern suburbs, one of the most expensive and highly rated areas of Athens. Cape Sounion, the southern part of Attica, entrance to the Temple of Poseidon.
